Job: Sustainable Specialist, Bangladesh

A European company having the lesion office situated at Baridhara DOHS looking for a Sustainable specialist who has knowledge of textile technology, environmental sustainability, clothing technology, manufacturing process, dyeing process, and also have a basic knowledge in Life Cycle assessment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience or coursework in conducting LCAs.
- Knowledge and experience in the textile industry are required.
- Proficiency in using sustainability software platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with suppliers at various levels.
- Experience in sustainable supply chain management is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and analyze environmental impacts across the supply chain.
- Collaborate with suppliers from Tier 1 to Tier 4 to gather and analyze sustainability-related data.
- Work closely with the sustainability team to ensure compliance with sustainable supply chain practices.
- Use sustainability software tools to monitor and report on environmental performance.
- Engage with suppliers to drive sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with our environmental goals.
- Support the development and execution of sustainability projects, focusing on reducing the environmental impact of textile production.
